YEOVILLE STUDIO IN YEOVILLE COMMUNITY LIFE
Beyond special events such as public exhibitions and community workshops, Yeoville Studio attempted to be visible and present in the ordinary life of the neighborhood - so that its interventions were understood by a broad public, so that it was approachable by whoever was interested in its projects, so that it could inform and report on its activities.
First, Yeoville Studio participated in every single monthly ward meeting, and often other community meetings - street meetings, community policing forum meetings, organisation meetings, etc. There, when offered space, a member of Yeoville Studio would briefly explain what the Studio was, what it was busy with, what it had done.
Second, Yeoville Studio was graciously granted a space in the Yeoville public library - a glass cubicle where it could post news, images, posters and announcements, as well as store some items.
Third, the Studio made use of the Yeovue News, the local newsletter produced weekly by the YBCDT, to announce and to report more in depth on its projects
