Department of Occupational Therapy
Welcome to the Department of Occupational Therapy, which falls under the umbrella of the School of Therapeutic Sciences within the Faculty of Health Sciences. This page aims at giving an overview of the department, its training programmes staff. We are in the Khanya Building on Wits Education campus
The department offers a variety of innovative educational programmes:
- Undergraduate BSc OT degree, which is a four year fulltime course.
- Two year part time MSc OT degree by Coursework and a short report in the following options: Neurosciences applied to Occupational Therapy; Occupational Therapy treatment of Perceptual disorders; and Occupational therapy in the treatment of Psychiatric disorders.
- MSc OT by research only.
- Doctor of Philosophy by research.
