Research and Publications

The School has an active research program and encourages the interchange of ideas relevant to Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics and Operations Research. Research takes place at both a theoretical and applied level.  

Most academic staff in the School are either actively involved in research or are studying for Masters or PhD degrees.

We welcome applications for post-doctoral students, and especially visiting lecturers who wish to spend all or part of their sabbatical, or their retirement, collaborating with researchers in the school.
