2nd Sustainable Bioenergy and Processes Conference

Theme: Powering Sustainable Economies

The organising committee of the 2nd Sustainable Bioenergy and Processes conference, SBP2022 invites you to partake in the Sustainable Bioenergy and Processes conference scheduled to take place in Cape Town, South Africa from the 12th – 14th December 2022. Bioeconomy has continued to be critical in the need to meet sustainable goals. The harnessing of various biomass as well as processing to valuable products remains a pillar in the success of bioeconomies. While sustainability is highly desired, the challenges to actualizing the idea cannot be ignored. The conference aims to discuss progress, challenges and potential solutions towards utilisation of biomass for sustainability.

Registration

All participants are expected to register for the conference.

  • Early-bird Registration 1st August - 30th September 2022
  • Normal Registration 1st October - 15th December 2022

The registration includes access to the conference at the venue or virtual, participation in all conference activities, welcome dinner, lunch, an electronic book of abstracts, and publication of full-length papers in the conference proceedings.

Publications

All accepted abstracts will be published electronically.

Only papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication either in the Conference proceedings (ISBN), Advances in Biofuels and Bioenergy Production or a special issue of the Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining.

Papers to be considered in Advances in Biofuel and Bioenergy production will go through the journal’s review process.
