Corporate Governance and Administration

The Corporate Governance and Administration courses offered by Wits Plus are recognised by CGISA, the international professional body for Corporate Secretaries.

The Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (formerly CSSA) is the professional qualifying body for Chartered Secretaries and is recognised in more than 70 countries. It offers a series of professional learning programmes that prepare candidates to become qualified Chartered Secretaries.

Wits Plus offers three programmes which are fully accredited by CGISA:

  • Programme 1 at NQF Level 5
  • Programme 2 at NQF Level 6
  • Programme 3 at NQF Level 7

All courses in these programmes can be studied as stand-alone short courses. Success in all three programmes will give candidates access to the Internationally Qualifying Board Examinations.
