Bachelor of Oral Health Sciences (in the field of Oral Hygiene)

Closing dates for applications:

30th June annually 

Admissions requirements:

  • A pass in English HL or First Additional Language and Mathematics at the National Senior Certificate Scale of Achievement level 4, Mathematical Literacy at the National Senior Certificate Scale of Achievement level 7, Life Sciences and or Physical Sciences at the National Senior Certificate Scale of Achievement level 5.
  • APS score calculation.

  • Behavioural and Social Sciences for Dental Auxilliaries (OHSC 1003)

Year of Study 2:

  • Integrated Clinical Dentistry for Oral Hygienists (OHSC 2004)
  • Bioethics for Dental Auxilliaries I (SCMD 1004)
  • Community Dentistry for Dental Auxilliaries I (COMD 1001)
  • Fundamentals of Clinical Oral Health II (OHSC 2005)

Year of Study 3:

  • Applied Research and Dental Practice Management for Dental Auxilliaries (OHSC 3005)
