Wits University went all out on 28 September 2024 to host the Vice-Chancellor's Top Applicants Function, where the crème de la crème of the Matric Class of 2024 got a sneak peek into life at Wits. This annual event celebrates high school legends who’ve smashed their academic goals and set their sights on becoming Witsies. It’s all about recognising the top achievers in high schools who are ready to take on their next big adventure at one of SA’s most iconic unis.
Top applicants to Wits from all corners of the country got an exclusive look at some of Wits’ coolest spots, from the ACTOM Energy Lab and the High Voltage Lab to the Spray Lab, Robotics Lab, and even the Drama and Theatre spaces. Applicants explored the cutting-edge innovations and creative vibes happening across campus – an exciting glimpse into what Wits has to offer!
