Nokhanyo Yolwa holds a BA in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and the Wits Certificate in Chief Information Officer (CIO) Practice Level 3: Advanced Professional Practice in Digital Innovation and Leadership.
Yolwa served for five years as Secretary-General of the Youth Advisory Panel for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) South Africa. While at UNISA, Yolwa served as an Assistant Student Counsellor and as an Academic Literacy Student Assistant. As the LINK Centre's Coordinator of Certificate Programmes, Yolwa coordinates student participation in the following courses:
- Certificate in Frontiers in Digital Government
- Certifiate in Cybersecurity Professional Practice and Leadership (CPPL), co-convened with the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE)
