The 7th ICOAM will take place during the week of 24 - 28 June 2024 in the vibrant and beautiful Kruger National Park, South Africa! Set against the majestic wilderness of the Kruger National Park, attendees can anticipate encounters with the iconic 'Big Five' – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. The conference will be held at the Skukuza Rest Camp, ensuring not just insightful sessions but also unparalleled wildlife experiences. This promises to be an extraordinary event that goes beyond the boundaries of a conference room, offering attendees a genuine immersion into the heart of African wilderness.

Social programme

  • Monday afternoon/early evening: Poster Function
    Start the conference with an evening of posters, networking, live music, and assorted refreshments.
  • Tuesday afternoon/early evening: Sunset Game Drive
    Experience an open safari drive in the park as the sun goes down, offering a chance to see wildlife (and hopefully all of the Big 5) in their natural environment.
  • Wednesday afternoon/early evening: Sunset Game Drive
    Experience an open safari drive in the park as the sun goes down, offering a chance to see wildlife (and hopefully the rest of the Big 5, in case you missed any the day before) in their natural environment.
  • Friday evening: Closing Banquet
    Enjoy a traditional African Bush Braai (a barbeque), complete with a pre-dinner game drive (safari) and an evening of African dancing.
