Much of the teaching in the Division is focused at the postgraduate level with courses designed for the BEd Honours and MEd programmes.

Academic staff are also actively involved in policy research and policy dialogue.

The Division is home to the SADC Centre of Specialisation in Education Policy Support which runs a range of specific research initiatives.

The Division has an active PhD programme enrolling students from South Africa and the wider SADC region.

The Division offers a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with a focus on Education Law and Policy.

BEd Honours Programme

This programme is offered on a 1-year full-time or two years part-time basis. Please contact the Division for more information about studying educational leadership and policy at the BEd Honours level.
