Study of Women Entering and in Endocrine Transition (SWEET)

The aim of this cross-sectional study was to measure the cardiometabolic risk, and hormonal and body composition profile, of women in a study across the menopausal transition. It was funded by the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), the National Health Laboratory Service and the University of the Witwatersrand's Iris Ellen Hodges Cardiovascular Research Trust.
