Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the MISGSA are to
- Generate greater awareness in South African industry and business to the problem solving power of mathematics
- Promote the transfer of mathematical modelling and problem solving to industry and business
- Establish better links between industry and academic mathematics
- Establish new research collaborations between industry representatives, mathematicians in South Africa and overseas invited guests.
- Provide improved university education of mathematicians through
