Dr Vijay Mammen completed his undergraduate training at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2007. He also completed his Diploma in Child Health in 2010. He then completed his Fellowship in Paediatrics in 2014 and has a MMED in Paediatrics from the University of the Witwatersrand that was completed in 2015. He completed his fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology in 2019. He is currently working as a Paediatric Cardiologist at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg and is a lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of the Witwatersrand.
