Marc Hauptfleisch is the Head of Paediatric Neurology at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. He serves on the executive committee of the Paediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment Association of Southern Africa, and is an examiner in the College of Paediatricians of South Africa.   

His special interests are neuromuscular conditions and movement disorders.
