Dr Jacqui Bezuidenhout

Dr Bezuidenhout is a Pediatric Developmental specialist with a special interest in Autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, Cerebral palsy and cortical visual impairment. She is currently based at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital (CMJAH) and is a senior consultant working in the Neurodevelopmental clinic.
Dr Bezuidenhout is a senior lecturer for the University of Witwatersrand and is the MSc Neurodevelopment coordinator as well as a co-coordinator for the MSc Child life and psychosocial care.
She is an elected member of the Global Professional Education Committee for the International Alliance of Academies of Childhood disability (IAACD) and is a reviewer for the ‘Knowledge Hub’.
She is a board member of the Children’s Memorial Institute (CMI) and currently heads up the PR and History subcommittee.
