She qualified as a Paediatrician in 2004, worked in General Paediatrics and Specialist Clinics at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital until 2008. Fellowship In Developmental Paediatrics 2008-2010 at CMJAH trained and worked with Prof Lorna Jacklin until her retirement in 2015.

2015 to date: Heading Developmental Unit CMJAH, special interests include: Visual impairment, Cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder

She is an EXCO member of the Southern African Academy of Childhood Disability, and was a member of the IAACD COVID task force in 2020.She is SGB member of Johannesburg Hospital School
