Dr Bezuidenhout and Dr Thomson co-supervising:
- The MRI findings and clinical characteristics of children with cerebral palsy at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. Co-supervision of research for Msc Neurodevelopment. Submitted and accepted to SAJCH July 2021. Publication date to be released. Student: Dr Christelle Nel (CMJAH, JB, HT)
- Brain MRI Findings in Paediatric Patients with Developmental Delay at a Tertiary Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. Co-supervisor for MMED research report. Dr Farzaana Badat is currently writing up the research (CMJAH, JB, HT)
- Dr Bezuidenhout supervising:
- An investigation into the associations between Autism Spectrum Disorder and Head Circumference. Co-supervision of Msc Neurodevelopment research report that has been submitted, passed with distinction in Feb 2021 and being submitted for publication. Student :Mrs Bianca Vieira.(CMJAH, JB)
- An analysis of the referral system, to the neurodevelopmental clinic, at a tertiary hospital in the Eastern Cape. Co-supervisor for Msc Neurodevelopment research report. Research being submitted August 2021.Student: Dr Michelle Olander-deas. (CMJAH, JB)
- The prevalence of mental health co-morbidities and scholastic difficulties in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder from Military families and a private Paediatric Neurologist. Co-supervisor for a Msc Neurodevelopment research report. Data is currently being analysed. Student: Dr Rizqa Sulaiman-Baradien (CMJAH, JB)
- Parenting experiences of parents of children with ADHD in grades one to three during the COVID-19 lockdown in South Africa.
