Measuring Instruments
- Demonstrate cross-sectoral leadership on the issue (e.g. student success)
- Employ staff that have appropriate skills & credibility to perform backbone functions
- Drive communications-related outcomes (e.g. increased visibility)
- Coordinate the entire initiative (unite partners around a common agenda/goal)?
- Facilitate participants’ inner journey of change, including change in mental models and cultural/emotional biases.
- Develop and implement processes to cultivate trust amongst participants
- Conduct verbal sharing sessions (e.g. Appreciative Inquiry techniques) with partners to gather narrative information on successes within their networks
- Drive people to seek new approaches to difficult challenges
- Strategic Learning (Shared measurement) - a strategic learning approach that sees shared measurement as one component of a larger system of learning and evaluation
Key activities:
- Partners are engaged and contributing to a collective plan of action that unifies and leverages their distinct activities (for student and staff)?
- Teaching/Learning and Assessment strategies are implemented, and process share regularly
- Provide opportunities for feedback & input with students and staff
- A strong accountability focus is included
