Postgraduate Curriculum

(Except for MSc Welding) Please select 4 courses listed under each field of study, yielding 80 credits + Research Methodology + Research Project. Each course carries 20 credits, unless indicated otherwise. Part-time students need to confirm with the programme co-ordinators before registering for the Research Methodology & Research Project. Full-time students need to register for all the courses in one year - this is compulsory.

PGDip Engineering

Chemical Engineering
Only the courses listed below each field of study can be taken. Students must register for all 6 courses listed below. Investigational Projects A & B cannot be taken without doing Process Fundamentals A & B.

An M.Eng. by coursework and an industrial project. The M.Eng. (Prof.) is made up of: 6 x 20 credit courses, a research methodology course of 15 credits, and an industry-based project of 45 credits.
