Bereavement: The Group for coping with loss and grief - Loss takes many forms: death of a loved one, loss of health, ending of a relationship, moving to a different place and even the loss of dreams for the future. Usually, loss is followed by painful emotions called Grief - the more significant the loss, the more intense the grief. And even though we know for sure that sooner or later we all will experience loss, it is one of the events in life for which we feel most unprepared. Learning to cope is never about ‘getting over it’ but getting to a space in which you feel able to function well again and look into the future with hope. Learn to cope with the grief of your loss. Give yourself permission to be vulnerable without being judged. Come… just BE and share in the safe space.
