Heritage, Urban and Landscape Design, and Sustainability Goals

In collaboration with the Property and Infrastructure Management Division (PIMD), and the Campus Planning and Development (CPD), CIL is developing long-term heritage and sustainable building strategies and programmes for the various campuses of Wits University. This includes the protection of the recently acquired 1970s masterpiece design, the Brebnor House in suburban Johannesburg, which is being converted into a research laboratory.
