Annual Reports
The Higher Education Act requires that the Council must provide the Minister of Higher Education and Training annually with a report on the overall 'governance' of the institution together with annual financial statements. The financial information, in the format required by the Minister, is intended to enable officials in the Department of Higher Education to be satisfied that the state and other funding available to an institution have been utlised in the proper manner for the intended purposes, and that the institution is being properly managed.
